Here’s What Happened on “SNL” That Everyone’s Talking About Today

“Saturday Night Live” started off with a “re-broadcast” of last week’s presidential debate, featuring ALEC BALDWIN as PRESIDENT TRUMP, and JIM CARREY as JOE BIDEN.

They didn’t go overboard on Trump’s coronavirus diagnosis . . . probably because the sketch was already written and pretty well-rehearsed before the news broke.

But toward the end of the sketch, Biden “paused” Trump with a remote, then said, quote, “I believe in science and karma.  Now just imagine if science and karma could somehow team up to send us all a message about how dangerous this virus can be

“I’m not saying I WANT it to happen.  But just imagine if it did.”

(Here’s Chris Rock’s monologue, a fun rap song called “Bottom of Your Face” featuring Megan Thee Stallion, and Chloe Fineman’s spot-on impersonation of Drew Barrymore.)
