Marion County officials suggest masks for all

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (ADAMS) – Face masks could be coming back in and around Indianapolis.

On Tuesday, Marion County suggested that everyone wear a mask to protect against the coronavirus, even people who are vaccinated. The move follows the CDC’s new recommendation that everyone go back to wearing a mask.

The county issued a statement saying vaccines are still ‘the most powerful tool’ against the coronavirus while noting that almost 99-percent of people who’ve been hospitalized with the virus since January were not vaccinated.
