TSA says it is ready ahead of Memorial Day weekend

(ADAMS) – The TSA says it is ready for the summer travel season, which kicks off this Memorial Day weekend.

The TSA says is expecting to screen roughly ten-million travelers this weekend, with the rush starting Friday. The agency hopes some recently made changes lead to a smoother check-in process but still warns travelers to get to the airport at least two hours before their flights.

One of the changes includes allowing children who are 17 and younger to go through security checkpoints with parents enrolled in TSA PreCheck.
